I am admittedly a sucker for a shirt dress, I have many... but none like this!  They are so figure flattering and easy to wear. I am in love with the print on this one, and while it is expensive it is also really versatile.  For summer I would roll the sleeves up and wear it with my strappy wooden or cork wedged sandals.  It would be equally amazing with charcoal tights and black boots or booties this fall.

Splendid Python Top:

I keep coming across this top throughout my fashion travels, and everytime I'm drawn to it, but still a little hesitant.
I think the issue I have is with the "dolman" sleeves :

I've never worn anything with them, and I sort of have this idea you need to be skinny, at least skinny armed or waisted or something for them to look good... maybe it' just me.

Anyway, I'm recommending this top right?  Listen, the fabric is jersey, and the brand is Spendid, so it is without a doubt super soft and comfy.  I love the pewter/black color palate, and the print.

It's called a skirt but it has that wide elastic band so, like shown here, it can be worn as a dress. The lace is really beautiful up close too, but hurry if you want it! It's final sale and there have been items on sale at Calypso I've hesitated on before which were then gone in a number of hours.

Crinkled Chiffon Dress:

$24.80 at Forever 21. Am I making things up or is this dress really cute? I just discovered (literally, like 10 minutes ago), that you can shop F21 online, and, that apparently they sell things there I like. I feel a little bit uneasy about this... didn't we all stop considering F21 a viable shopping option upon HS graduation? I don't know, this dress may be awful in person (I am kind of tempted to run out to my nearest store location right now to find out... there are some really cute $20 shoes on the website too), but the way it's presented here I must say I really like. Nice pattern, nice cut. It could be easily slutted-down with opaque tights and flats, also super cute/party with booties and a cuffed blazer.
