More Missoni

I know everyone is swooning over these, but really they are amazing.  Never before have I had such an intense desire to belong to a bohemian Milanese fashion dynasty (surprising as that is...).

The Missoni S/S '10 ad campaign, shot by everyone's favorite German perv, Juergen Teller, over a family reunion style dinner at founders Rosita and Tai Missoni's Milan home per Angela Missoni's wish for a more personal (and economical) point of view.  She shared with WWD:
I wanted to highlight our reality and our lifestyle, which is reflected in our unique product and in the artisanal aspect... This campaign really reflects the mood I’m in these days, even from a design stance.
The intimate and unique campaign features Angela and her parents, her children Margherita, Teresa and Francesco Maccapani Missoni, and her brother Vittorio Missoni’s siblings, Ottavio Junior, Marco and Giacomo Missoni.

I wanna be a Missoni girl!

that couch!

Missoni is a family-run company, conceived in 1953 when Rosita and Tai first started creating their now iconic knits in the basement of their home.  The company is now under creative direction of daughter Angela.

So cool! so creative! I want to be Margherita so bad!
